Hartmann & Keppler was founded in 1935 by Heinz Hartmann and Theo Keppler. Today it is a third generation family owned business, acquired by Robert and Reinhard Hartmann, grandsons of Heinz Hartmann, in 1996. The factory is located in the original premises in Doornfontein and the beautiful Hartmann & Keppler Interiors Showroom has been established to serve the local market in Bryanston, Sandton. Our sales team are all highly trained to help each client decorate their homes, from furniture choices and fabric selections, to curtaining and adding that final accessory. Furniture styles vary from traditional and classic, to more modern and contemporary looks. We follow international trends closely, and adapt our ranges to suit the local South African style. We pride ourselves in our high standard of quality, as each item is hand made from cutting and molding, to carving and sanding and finishing off with staining or painting. New ranges are added to our selection, depending on trends and demands, whilst the older ranges which continue to be sought after are still available. We have full ranges in bedrooms, dining rooms, lounges and office suits, each with accompanying pieces that compliment the style. All the furniture is made to order, and each client can personalize the items to suit their taste with their choice in finish and fabrics. Hartmann & Keppler have successful relationships with the leading fabric houses, and showcase a selection of the fabrics in the showroom.
